To enjoy the “Nougat de Paname” to the last crumb, know that there are several ways to taste it for Christmas.
As the Christmas festivities approach, having “Nougat de Paname” in your desserts can only be an ingenious idea. But to get out of its classic form, I unveil an original recipe to transform it into a Christmas log made with “Nougat de Paname” Ice Cream. For this, you will need 6 egg yolks, 50 g of sugar, 50 cl of milk, 25 cl of liquid cream and 200 g of “Nougat de Paname”. Mix the nougat cut into pieces for 15 seconds at high speed. Then add the egg yolks, sugar and milk to the bowl and heat 6 minutes at 80 ° C. After adding the cream, mix for 5 seconds at medium speed. Let cool, then pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours until the mixture hardens. Once done, place the ice cubes in the bowl and blend for 1 minute on high speed using the spatula. Bon appétit and happy holidays !
